We now have a substitute for the Ingolstadt and Stuttgart fast waggons thanks to the first-ever BMW M3 Touring. The 3 Series-based performance car is still a highly formidable machine even if it competes in a different league from the Mercedes-AMG E63 Wagon and Audi RS6 Avant. For certain customers, however, stock is never enough, and if you are one of those fans who constantly want more and want something different than the standard M Performance components, Manhart will meet your demands with a new tuning package for the quick waggon.
The option, known as the MH3 650 Touring, adds improvements to the long-roof M3 that have been accessible for the M3 Sedan since March of last year. The 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine now produces more than 650 horsepower (478 kilowatts) and 590 pound-feet (800 Newton-meters) of torque, yet there are noticeable cosmetic alterations as well. In contrast, the standard M3 Touring is only offered in Competition grade with 503 horsepower (375 kW), which is sent to all four wheels through BMW’s xDrive AWD technology and an eight-speed M Steptronic gearbox.
A redesigned exhaust system with valve control matches the positive power gain. Customers can also choose Manhart downpipes without catalytic converters as an alternative, albeit this may not be permitted in your nation. Additionally, there are variants with 300 cells, GESI catalytic converters, and OPF-delete pipes.
The MH3 650 Touring is visually distinct from the original model thanks to a new carbon package that includes a front spoiler, a rear spoiler, side skirts, aero flicks, and a rear diffuser. With a new decal kit coloured in gold, Manhart’s characteristic black and gold colour scheme is also visible. The quick waggon has matte black Manhart Concave One wheels, but you may easily choose another colour if that suits your tastes better.
