Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Saturday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will “U-turn” on its plan to dissolve the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies “within a week.”
Speaking on the “Naya Pakistan” segment of the Geo News program, Sanaullah predicted that “a U-turn will happen within a week.”
In response to a query, the interior minister stated that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) now has nothing to offer Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi. Additionally, he charged CM Elahi with corruption.
His comments followed PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s announcement that PTI would dissolve the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa legislatures on December 23.
